About Navarre, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Navarre is a Stark County, Ohio village with a population of nearly 2,000 residents. Named after a region in Spain, Navarre was home to U.S. Army officer Orlando Poe, who fought in the American Civil War and was responsible for much of the early construction of lighthouses on the Great Lakes. This village is included within the Canton-Massillon Metro Statistical Area, and consists of just over two square miles of total area. Navarre exhibits the characteristics of a humid continental climate zone, which is typical for the Great Lakes Region. Summers are hot with high humidity levels, while winters are cold and prone to frequent snowfall.
Despite the small size of Navarre, there are some interesting and exciting things to do in this community. Families often enjoy checking out Flashback Classic Coin Ops, as both parents and children like playing the vintage arcade games. History buffs often enjoy Mathew’s House Museum, while residents and visitors who are looking for a bargain often check out the Navarre Indoor Flea Market. Baylor Beach Park is also located in Navarre, and this is a popular destination for camping and swimming.
